4. Keep an Eye on Trends and Algorithm Changes
Understanding trends and keeping up with the latest algorithms will provide opportunities for new ideas, great content and better results. With the industry changing almost every minute, it is imperative not only to identify trends future, but also how they affect each sector.
5. Monitor, Adapt and Explore Featured Snippets
Google has always valued good content. Content that appears in Featured Snippets in Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs) can get 2x higher click-through-rates than content that is not in the “Position 0”, so they need updates and optimizations whenever there are changes or complementary information. With the emergence of data collection devices such as Google Home, there will be a significant increase in demand for direct responses, such as quick response boxes. Voice search of “how to do” or “direct question & answer” situations are going to be more and more casual and the trend is expected to grow.
6. Improve Page Load Speed
The importance of page load speed has always been evident in the world of SEO. One of our major goals this year is to improve the speed of page loading for less than 4 seconds. We plan to do this by optimizing images, minimizing HTTP requests and reducing the number of plugins and pixels on websites.
7. Give Links (more) Attention
The importance of (good) links. For this we conduct more link audits, ideally every 4-5 months, to ensure the correction of external broken links, and obtaining backlinks .
8. Joining SEO with CRO
The need to make SEO and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) work together. The website has excellent SEO but no CRO, it’s like leaving the process halfway. The CRO process involves understanding how users navigate the website, what actions they take, and what prevents them from completing their goals.
